Common Questions

How Long Is Your Treatment Program?

Treatment length varies based on your individual needs and progress. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) typically runs 2-4 weeks with 30+ hours of treatment per week.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs generally last 6-12 weeks at 9-12 hours per week.

Virtual IOP follows the same timeline. Many clients transition between levels of care as they progress—starting with PHP and stepping down to IOP, then to ongoing outpatient therapy.

During your initial assessment, our clinical team will recommend the appropriate length and level of care for your specific situation. Remember: recovery is a journey, not a destination, and we’ll adjust your treatment plan as your needs change.

Do You Offer Residential Treatment?

We don’t operate residential inpatient facilities, but we specialize in intensive outpatient programs that often serve as excellent alternatives or next steps.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides nearly the same level of clinical intensity as residential care—you just go home or a sober living home each night. For clients who need residential treatment first, we have trusted partner facilities we can refer you to, and we’re happy to provide seamless transitions into our outpatient programs when you’re ready.

We also offer structured sober living homes for those who need a safe, supportive environment during treatment or after completing a residential program. Our admissions team can assess your needs and connect you with the right level of care, whether that’s with us or through our network of partners.

What Insurances Do You Accept?

We accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Beacon, Humana, and many others.

Every insurance policy is different, so we verify your specific coverage before you start treatment. Our admissions team will contact your insurance company, determine what’s covered, explain your copay or deductible, and break down any out-of-pocket costs in plain language.

We also offer flexible payment plans and financing options for those without insurance or with high deductibles. Don’t let insurance confusion stop you from getting help—we handle the complicated parts so you can focus on recovery.

What Is A Typical Day Like In Treatment?

Your daily schedule depends on which program you’re in. In our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you’ll attend treatment Monday through Saturday from approximately 9am to 3pm.

Days include individual therapy sessions, process groups, psychoeducation classes, skills training (like CBT and DBT), psychiatric appointments when needed, and lunch. In our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), you’ll attend 3-4 days per week for 3-hour blocks, either in the morning or evening. Sessions include group therapy, relapse prevention work, peer support, and individual counseling.

Our Virtual IOP follows the same structure as in-person IOP, just via secure video. All programs include time for goal-setting, homework review, and building your recovery action plan. The atmosphere is supportive, structured, and focused on giving you practical tools you can use immediately.

Can My Family Be Part Of The Process?

Absolutely. Addiction affects the whole family, and family involvement often strengthens recovery outcomes.

We offer family therapy sessions where your loved ones can participate in your treatment, learn about addiction and recovery, address family dynamics, and heal relationships. We also provide family education workshops that help your support system understand what you’re going through and how they can best support your journey.

For those in our programs, we encourage family visits and involvement at appropriate stages of treatment. We can also connect your family members with their own support resources, like Al-Anon or family support groups. The level of family involvement is always your choice, and we’ll work with you to determine what’s most helpful for your specific situation.

Healing Is Possible. Help Is Available. Hope Is Here.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. Our St. Petersburg team is standing by to answer your questions, verify your insurance, and help you take the first step toward the life you deserve. Call now—we’re ready when you are.
