Based on my dear sister’s road to recovery here, Mr. Jensen runs a darn good facility. My sister was treated as a person with a problem and not just as a problem. The kindness of the staff was evident each and every time I visited. Tampa Bay Recovery Center saved my life. I have severe trauma and the center provided me with multiple types of therapy that have changed the way I live my life. This is a center that truly cares about every single client that comes through. The housing is beautiful and clean, and the area is amazing and right by the beach. All the techs truly care, and the tech Dana was always there to talk me through whatever I was going through. The attentiveness to therapeutic and medical care was unlike anything else I have experienced at other centers that I have gone to. This was the first time I have left a center feeling confident and excited to continue my recovery. Beside ourselves over our son’s addiction, the facility gave us a massive amount of support for which we will be forever grateful. Neither my spouse nor I had ever even dabbled in drugs so this was all new and terrifying territory for us. The compassion with which we were educated and the education we received from Debra in particular made the experience easier to bear for us both. They offer wisdom and knowledge that comes from personal experience and that is invaluable. The community feel and structure gives you the support you need to concentrate on your sobriety. They recognized me as an individual. This is not a place that has cookie-cutter treatments that they attempt to force every patient to fit into.
